VAT return preparation comes as an adjunct to our bookkeeping service. We also have the ability to prepare VAT returns directly from your records.

The main advantage of this service for our clients is that it allows us to review the figures as they are entered on the VAT returns and pick up any potentially serious mis-declarations before the return goes to Customs and Excise. As Customs audits VAT records on average every three years it could be some time before any fault is discovered which could lead to a large back claim and possibly penalties.
